7/24/19  -  NHVFD and Hampton #1 as well as Shaler-Hampton EMS and other mutual aid departments responded to a multi-vehicle crash on route 8 at approx. 8:00am.   Two patients we extracated from vehicle #1 and transported to a local hospital.   Route 8 was closed in both directions for several hours.

3/4/2018  -  North Hampton VFD and Hampton #1 responded to a call for assistance from HTPD at the scene of a single vehicle accident.   Crews cleaned-up the road and secured the scene while the tow company removed the vehicle.

3/2/2018  -  NHVFD and Hampton VFD Firefighters and Fire Police assisted Hampton Police, Duquesne Light Company and PennDOT in the overnight hours with tree and wires down incidents on Rt 8 and Harts Run Road.

2/5/2018  -  Rep. Hal English announced the annual State grant funding for local volunteer fire departments ans ambulance services.  NHFD received $13,570.48 this year.   Learn more HERE 

2/3/2018  -  members from NHFD participated in a "rope bail-out" class at Rock-n-Rescue.  These kits allow interior firefighters to escape from situations by lowering themselves out a window or other opening.  See VIDEO

1/24/2018  -  Members of NHFD as well as a few neighboring departments paticipated in Fire Police 'table-top' training exercises sponsored by the Greater North Hills Fire Police Association.  The 2.5 hour class included presentations and reviews of real-life scenerios all with the intent of teaching proper response planning and execution in order to provide the safest conditions for responding fire, police and ems as well as the general public.​

1/15/2018  -  Representatives from NHFD attended a Hampton School District in-service pre-planning meetings and tours of the high school and middle schools.   School District Administration, building Principals, Hampton Police and Shaler EMS also participated.
