How the Special Needs Registry process works:
a) Create an account on the Allegheny County Emergency Services website and fill-out and submit the online form with the applicable information about yourself or the person with special needs.
--- OR ---
b) Print the Special Needs Registry form, fill it out and mail it to the Allegheny County Emergency Services office.
Once the information is received by Allegheny County Emergency Services, it will be added to the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system that dispatchers, fire, ems and police use.
If any Hampton emergency service (or Mutual Aid) agency is alerted to the address provided in the form, it will be communicated to the responding agency(ies) via the dispatcher and / or the mobile data terminal (MDT) in the emergency vehicles (laptops in the Ambulances, Fire Trucks and Police Cars).
